Bio

Chris Leone retired from education in 2024 after a distinguished 25-year career as a teacher, administrator, and superintendent. During his tenure, he became one of the youngest superintendents in Connecticut history and remains the only superintendent in the state to have simultaneously led three school districts.

While education was his profession, baseball has long been his passion. Throughout his career, Chris dedicated much of his free time to coaching, primarily focusing on pitching development at the youth, middle school, and high school levels. His commitment to player development and mentorship has helped countless young athletes improve their skills, build confidence, and deepen their understanding of the game.

Chris brings a wealth of leadership experience, teaching expertise, and a lifelong love of baseball to the Bristol Blues coaching staff.
