Since 2013, Hunt has served as Deputy Commissioner of the NECBL, helping shape and support one of the nation’s premier summer collegiate baseball leagues.
At the high school level, Hunt has enjoyed tremendous success coaching baseball at Thomaston High School, Terryville High School, and Wamogo Regional High School. His teams captured two Berkshire League championships and made two appearances in the Connecticut Class S State Finals. A lifelong competitor, Hunt remains active on the field, continuing to play for both the Washington Monuments and Washington Senators of the Northeast Baseball Association.

He currently serves as head basketball coach at Lakeview High School, following many successful years at Wamogo Regional High School. During his coaching tenure, his teams have won four league championships and seven Berkshire League Tournament titles while compiling more than 529 career victories. His remarkable achievements were recently recognized with his induction into the Connecticut High School Coaches Association Hall of Fame.
